Müde: Merlin went to a global school (Boarding school in Germany that allowed anyone from any country but only the smartest of the smartest kids, or VERY wealthy kids) Merlin came from a wealthy family, Merlin was never exactly smart, he never was able to focus. Merlin was bullied a lot, he only had a few “friends” those friends being Hugo, Tanako, and Lucien. Merlin was roomates with Hugo which is why they became so close, even being “best friends”. However… the friendship was toxic, neither Hugo or Merlin could tell it was. The reasonings for it being toxic was due to the both of them at fault. Hugo was abusive since his anger, and gult. Merlin was clingy to the point it was extremely unhealthy. For examples of this Hugo would slap Merlin across the face over him being “Too weak” and Merlin would apologize to the point of gult tripping Hugo into coming back over and over. Hugo would get mad, Merlin would beg and it would repeat. Merlin did many forms of self harm, weither it was starving himself, cutting himself, forcing himself to never sleep, and choking himself. Merlin had ED bad.. same for insomnia which made him look extremly skinny exhausted, and unwell in many ways. Most people would think someone would notice and get him help? No, the cruel reality was no one cared unless you were special as in smart, and good looking. Like Tanako Deft. Tanako later on started getting close to Merlin and making Merlin feel cared for. Such as Bandageing his self wounds, and comforting him. However this was manipuatuon. Tanako only ever wanted to hurt people, mostly Hugo. Merlin was so close and so valued by Hugo. So Tanako used Merlin. Hell all started one day… A classmate who hated and was so Jealous of Hugo (Ezra) decided to beat Hugo up. Merlin was there… he was scared, he didn’t know what to do, he hid. After the fight was over.. Hugo was pissed at Merlin for just hiding and never even daring to get help. Merlin felt so gultiy he cried and apolgized over and over, but Hugo didn’t budge this time… Tanako was there. He always was…? Hugo would beginn saying hurtful stuff beyound anything he said to Merlin before, things such as “Why live if all you do is cry and wine and just be depressed?” “Maybe you would be happier dead if your so ”sad“” It hurt. It hurt so much for Merlin… one day the day… where it all finally broke, every inch… Merlin walked up the stairs to the rooftop then frose. Ezra… and Ezra’s supposed homosexual lover (Michah) Michah was the sweetest soul ever..however he was always follwoing around Ezra like some people say a “dog”. Although Ezra told everyone he hated him so much, and if someone said they disagreed they get beat. Merlin had saw Ezra and Michah about to fall…? Was it a double sucide…? No. It was Michah trying to grip onto Ezra who had attepted to jump… Michah was going to fall too, but he didn’t let go? Merlin just watched in fear. “MERLIN PLEASE HELP…” Michah had yelled… Merlin was too scared to move. The last thing he heard was “Michah…you’re going to fall too please…let me go.. I can’t let you die too.. I lov-” They fell. together. Merlin dropped to his knees and started sobbing..why? Why couldn’t he do anything, it’s his fault. It always is. Suddenly he heard two loud bangs. He ran to the edge of the roof top shakily.. and saw all the way 5 stories down Ezra and Michahs bodies. People were screaming from the sight. Merli cried… it was HIS fault. He could have saved them? Why…? WHY. Why, was he like this? When he got to the dorm… Hugo was there. He was so angry… “GOD I HATE YOU, YOU’RE SO FUCKING SELFISH WHY DID YOU STAND THERE? MICHAH IS DEAD. Ezra too…Not that I care about him…” Hugo looked away. Merlin ran outside the door… he felt all the gult come up he vomited.. A day later he would follow in Ezra’s footsteps.. He commited sucide. He hung himself. Leaving all the gult he had on Hugo. Merlin was 15.
