Artanail: ASTER and CAT as Augmenteds, and Soul's lilguy as an "ICK" unit". Augmenteds ( or Augments) Are Cyborgs. As fetuses, they are augmented with robotic nanite-parts that grow with them as they develop and age, even after birth. They are born "part machine". Augments are selectively bred, LIke to domestic animals.

MOST augments Are meant to be Drones or general servants. violent augments are illegal... but that hasnt stopped the creator of A1-2 and C-1: two Augments who were born to kill alongside B-13 on the War front. SOUL, A scout bot remotely controlled by another augment, Often comes along on missions to maintain communication between all three soldiers.
